Amit Kumar Srivastava, born in July 1981, hails from Husenabad Jaunpur, UP. Amit comes from a family deeply rooted in public service and education; His father Shri. Rajesh Kumar Srivastava is a Retired District Economic & Statistics Officer (Class-II Officer) in the Uttar Pradesh government, Amit’s mother Late Smt. Sangeeta Srivastava, who was a teacher at a junior high school under the Uttar Pradesh government, is no longer with us. Amit’s grandfather Late Shri Hridaynarayan Lal Srivastava, was a freedom fighter Youth & contributes to the welfare of the community through his work in the Agriculture Department of Uttar Pradesh government, Growing up in this environment, Amit has witnessed the importance of public service and education firsthand.
After completing his schooling, Amit Srivastava pursued higher education, Post-graduation in Commerce from V.B.S. Purvanchal University, Jaunpur in 2003. He Has Professional Courses, Transport Economics & Management from the Institute of Rail Transport, New Delhi in 2004.
Additionally, he holds a certificate and training from the NSS (National Service Scheme), specializing in Youth for Rural Reconstruction and also, has received IRDA training.
