In an era where our ancestors toiled tirelessly in the fields without the aid of mechanized farming, our family’s humble beginnings served as a catalyst for change. Realizing the transformative power of education, I chose to prioritize my own learning, completing my matriculation. While I was offered a government position, I made the decision to venture into entrepreneurship and opened a grocery shop in our village. This endeavor aimed to provide essential commodities to our community at affordable regional prices.
Running my own business brought me contentment and allowed me to engage with society, gaining valuable insights into the challenges faced by our people. As time went on, my dedication and sincerity in serving the community led to an invitation from a political party to contest the cooperative society of milk election. Building genuine relationships and exhibiting a strong work ethic, I steadily rose to become a prominent figure within the party. This legacy continued through generations within my family.
Recognizing our social responsibility, we sponsored the “Gyaneshwari Saptaha” event at our revered Siddheshwar temple, utilizing our own funds. Today, my family is blessed with three daughters and two sons. Following in my footsteps, my eldest son pursued a career in medicine and is actively involved in social work in Mumbai.
At this stage of my life, armed with the rich experiences I’ve gathered and fueled by a deep concern for the present state of politics, it became my dream to establish a party that operates on the principles of democracy. Thus, on the auspicious date of February 16, 2023, Lokshahi Party was born.
